You’ve got questions. We’ve got answers.

  • Somatic trauma therapy addresses patterns of protection deeply held in the nervous system. In this work we learn to expand your ability to tolerate sensations and emotions that may have felt too overwhelming to be with. This helps you increase vitality and gain access to the energy that’s currently being used to suppress and hold back your felt experiences. We are not looking to rewrite the past, rather, we are looking to rewire how your body responds to it in the present.

  • Somatic therapy is a body-first approach to healing. We use information gathered from the body to transform patterns that are stuck at the root- in your nervous system. Somatic therapy recognizes that story follows state- or in other words, that your thoughts are a reflection of the state of your nervous system. This differs from traditional talk-therapy approaches that focus primarily on analyzing and reframing thoughts and beliefs, which can be helpful and certainly has a time and place. Bringing the body into therapy allows for us to explore your whole being, rather than staying at just the level of the mind.

Read more about it on the blog, Somatic Therapy vs. Talk Therapy: What’s the Difference and How Do You Know What You Need?

  • No. Somatic therapy does not require one to re-tell their experience; a conscious memory does not even need to be available for there to be profound and significant healing.

  • Beginning June 1, 2026, I will no longer be accepting insurance. If you’d like, you can read more about that decision on my blog, here.

If your insurance plan includes out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement. Payment is collected at the time of service, and I provide a monthly Superbill that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.

Because plans vary, I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to better understand your coverage. You may find it helpful to ask:

    • Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?

    • What is my out-of-network deductible? Is it different for individual vs. family plans?

    • What is my out-of-network coinsurance rate? (This is the percentage of the fee you are responsible for after your deductible is met.)

    • What is my out-of-pocket maximum for out-of-network services? (Once this is met, coverage may increase to 100%.)

  • The benefits to private pay are numerous, with the primary benefits being a greater level of privacy and control over your treatment. When a therapy session is billed through insurance, the insurance company often requires detailed documentation about your mental health including a diagnosis and updates regarding your progress.

Some clients I work with do not meet criteria for a mental health diagnosis and some would prefer to have the details of their mental health treatment separate from their insurance/medical record. Additionally, insurance companies often limit the number of sessions they will pay for and restrict the therapeutic techniques which can be utilized during the treatment process.

  • I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to learn a bit about why you are seeking therapy and to see if working together feels like a good fit. The first session is about getting comfortable with the process. You’ll be able to tell me more about yourself, what you hope to gain from therapy, as well as your expectations about the therapeutic process. In somatic trauma therapy, we use information from the body as an entryway into healing. In sessions, this often means bringing gentle awareness to your inner world, including sensations, images, and emotions. Pacing is always tailored to individual needs. Weekly or biweekly sessions are common.

  • Initial Appointment (60-75 minutes): $300

    Individual Therapy (50 minutes): $250

  • I accept all major credit cards, as well as most HSA/FSA cards. Cash and check are also accepted if you prefer.

A valid credit card is securely kept on file and will be charged after each session unless another payment arrangement has been made.

  • Somatic coaching uses the body's intelligence to help you get unstuck, build nervous system awareness, and create lasting change — without the clinical structure of psychotherapy. Unlike therapy, coaching doesn't involve diagnosis, treatment plans, or insurance billing, and isn't restricted to clients in Massachusetts.

  • Somatic Trauma Resolution is a body-based approach to healing that works directly with the nervous system to resolve stored survival stress — the energy that gets stuck when our natural fight, flight, freeze, or fawn responses don't fully complete. Rather than re-telling or re-living what happened, we work gently with what's happening in the body now — building your capacity to be with difficult sensations and emotions so they can move through rather than stay stuck. Over time, this helps you develop a greater sense of safety within yourself, and more ease in your relationships and daily life.

This work is a good fit if you've done therapy before and are ready for something different, live outside of Massachusetts, or are drawn to somatic work but aren't sure therapy is the right container for where you are right now. It's also well-suited for anyone navigating nervous system patterns that are getting in the way of their relationships, work, or sense of self.

  • Psychedelic preparation and integration coaching supports you before and after a psychedelic experience — without involving the administration, facilitation, or recommendation of any substances. Preparation focuses on building nervous system safety, setting intentions, and developing the internal resources that help you get the most out of your experience. Integration supports you afterward in metabolizing what emerged — the sensations, emotions, images, and insights — so they can be woven into your daily life in a meaningful and sustainable way.

Research suggests that the benefits of psychedelic experiences come not from the substance alone, but from the context, support, and integration surrounding it. This coaching is for anyone who wants to approach their experience with care and intentionality, whether they're preparing for something upcoming or still making sense of something that's already happened.

Please note that psychedelic preparation and integration coaching is offered for educational and supportive purposes only and does not replace psychotherapy or medical care.

  • Coaching is a good fit if you're in a relatively stable place in your life but sense there's more available to you — more clarity, ease, or alignment between who you are and how you're living. It's also a great option if you live outside of Massachusetts and can't access therapy with me, if you've done therapy before and are ready for a different kind of support, or if you're navigating a life transition, creative block, or nervous system pattern that's getting in the way of your relationships, work, or sense of self.

Coaching is not the right fit if you're currently experiencing suicidal ideation, active self-harm, psychosis, active substance abuse, or an eating disorder — these needs require the level of care that a licensed therapist provides. If you're unsure whether coaching or therapy is the right fit, we can talk it through during a free consultation.

  • Somatic coaching is available as individual drop-in sessions or in packages for those ready to commit to a deeper arc of work.

    Drop-in session — $250 / 50 minutes

    5-session package — $1,100 (save $150)

    10-session package — $2,250 (save $250)

Payment is due at the time of booking. Coaching is not covered by insurance and superbills are not available for coaching services.

  • I offer both in-person and virtual coaching services.

In-person services are located at my office at 12 Congress St., Milford, Ma.

In-person clients are welcome to incorporate virtual sessions as needed, creating a flexible rhythm that works for your life.

  • I accept all major credit cards. Cash and check are also accepted if you prefer.

A valid credit card is securely kept on file and will be charged after each session unless another payment arrangement has been made.

  • Yes, and for many people, it's a really effective combination. Coaching and therapy serve different but complementary purposes, so working with both simultaneously can offer a fuller container of support. If you're already in therapy with another provider, coaching can run alongside that work without any conflict — though we would want to ensure your therapy and coaching goals are aligned and supporting each other.

Working with me in both a therapy and coaching capacity at the same time isn't something I'm able to offer — the two roles require clear boundaries to stay ethical and effective. If you're currently a therapy client and are interested in coaching, or vice versa, we can have a conversation about what makes the most sense for where you are.

  • Coaching is a private and trusting relationship, and I take that seriously — but it's important to know that coaching is not bound by the same confidentiality protections as therapy. Unlike therapy, coaching is not covered by HIPAA, and there is no legally protected client relationship. This means that the ethical and legal confidentiality standards that apply in a therapy context don't automatically apply in coaching. If you have questions about what this means in practice, please bring them to our consultation so we can talk through it openly.

  • No — coaching is not covered by insurance and superbills are not available for coaching services.

  • Sessions are 50 minutes and can be held in person or virtually. There's no rigid agenda. Each session is collaborative and fluid, shaped by what you're carrying that day and the larger goals we've identified together. We might track a body sensation, explore a pattern that keeps showing up, process something that's been sitting heavy, or work toward a specific goal you're holding. The thread running through all of it is the body — using its signals and intelligence to guide the work rather than thinking our way through it.

  • It really depends on what you're bringing and what you're hoping to get from the work. Some people come for a focused burst of sessions around a specific transition or experience and feel complete after 5–10 sessions. Others find that the work opens something deeper and choose to continue over several months or longer. We'll check in regularly about how things are feeling and whether the pace and container still make sense for where you are — there's no pressure to commit to more than what feels right.

  • No. I don't provide, recommend, or source any substances of any kind. My role is purely supportive — helping you prepare your nervous system and integrate your experience before and after. Any decisions about substances are entirely your own.

  • Preparation sessions focus on building the internal resources that help you approach your experience with greater safety and intentionality. We might work on nervous system regulation, clarify your intentions, explore any fears or expectations coming up, and develop practices to support you going in.

Integration sessions shift toward making meaning of what emerged — the sensations, emotions, images, or insights that surfaced during your experience. Rather than just talking about what happened, we work somatically to help your nervous system process and metabolize it, so the experience can translate into real, lasting change in your daily life.

  • No — preparation and integration support is available whether you're planning for something upcoming, in the middle of an experience arc, or still making sense of something that happened months or even years ago. Psychedelic experiences can leave a lasting imprint, and it's never too late to work with what emerged.
