Who is this for?
This workshop is designed to support women experiencing chronic stress, burnout, or symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress/Complex Post-Traumatic Stress.
This workshop is also suitable for professionals in the health and wellness spaces interested in supporting their clients from a body-based lens, as well as individuals curious to learn and experience ways to optimize their mental, emotional, and physical well-being through nervous system regulation.

We’re not just human beings- we are human animals.
Despite our intelligence, culture, and technology, we are still biological beings governed by many of the same instincts, needs, and evolutionary processes as other animals.
Nature has instilled in all animals a nervous system capable of restoring balance. However, in us humans animals the rational mind often overrides the body’s instinctual response following overwhelming stress and trauma. We try to keep it together and are afraid of losing control.
We may try to selectively close ourselves off to certain emotions. In our attempts to avoid the painful things we experience through our bodies- grief, illness, anger, loneliness, to name a few- we end up sacrificing the good, the beautiful, and the joy.
Using tools from Somatic Experiencing, Embody Your Experience is a workshop designed to support you in resolving symptoms of stress and trauma so you can build a healthier and more stable relationship with your body as a whole. We will learn how to develop an increasing tolerance for difficult bodily sensations and suppressed emotions that will help you discharge stored survival stress and access safety within, no matter what happens around you.
Through psychoeducation, embodiment practices, group discussion and shares, we will discover and experience how to be with your emotions so you can connect with your authenticity and access the beautiful things that come with being fully alive in your body.
