Trauma Therapy for Women and Adolescents in Massachusetts
Hey there! Welcome!
So glad you’re here!
I’m Amy Williams, founder of Felt Sense Psychotherapy. Perhaps you are new to the world of healing trauma through the body, or maybe being here is the just the next step along your path! Either way- thank you for being here and showing up for yourself!
Healing can feel complicated or confusing at times, especially when we try to do it all on our own. Being witnessed by another and understanding how your body works are crucial steps in making your healing journey easier to navigate.
My goal is to help guide you back home to your body so that you can feel whole again.
Feel free to take a look around, check out some blogs, and see what resonates for you. I’m only one message away, and can’t wait to support you in reconnecting with yourself as you find ease and safety within.
You are not broken.
Trauma happens where there’s a breakdown in your body's protective survival responses. As a result, you can end up feeling stuck, constantly reliving the past.
The good news is, your body has the ability to heal itself.
I’m here to support you in discovering how.
Felt Sense Psychotherapy is a place for adult women ages 22+ to heal trauma, befriend their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and reclaim their lives as their own again.
In case you haven’t heard-
It’s not all in your head.
When the nervous system does not regulate itself after an overwhelming experience, your entire being is impacted. Unresolved physiological distress can lead to an array of other physical, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral symptoms. From sleep to digestion, heart rate to immunity- it’s all connected.
Healing is possible.
